(She's not speaking to me currently, as I've just abused her with the damp corner of a paper towel in an attempt to clean gunk of mysterious origins off her fur. She'll decide she loves me again when it's time for her breakfast in a few hours).
Hello everyone. My name is Lindsay, and I work with addicts. I am the receptionist at a substance abuse rehabilitation facility which also has within it a psychiatrists office and we see patients for various other psychological disorders as well. So far I haven't encountered a single patient who is crazier than my mom and her friends.
I mean that in the most loving way possible of course.
Right now New Orleans is going through a cold spell. It's gotten down to the low 50s these past few days, so everyone is pretty sure we're at the start of the next ice-age and they're bundling up like they may lose their extremities if they stay out in it too long. Even I am putting on a spring jacket whenever I head out of doors.
I hope everyone out there is doing well, and perhaps I'll have something of substance to say the next time I post.
